By plane
An airplane (Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) from Beijing Airport flies directly to Huangshan Airport (Tunxi) would be a better choice, if you do not have an additional travel plan in China before the meeting.
Huangshan Airport (Tunxi: TXN), a small sized modern airport, connects the area with many Chinese cities, but not many international destinations. The airport is located in the same district as our meeting hotel. There are about 10 Km from the airport to Huangshan Xinyuan International Hotel, costs about 30 yuan(RMB) by taxi.
By Train
There are direct trains from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other main cities to Huangshan everyday. There are about 4 Km from the Huangshan Station to Huangshan Xinyuan International Hotel, costs 1.00 yuan by bus (No.12) and about 10 yuan by taxi.
Huangshan (Other names: Yellow Mountain, Mt Huangshan)
Yellow Mountain scenic area is a brilliant pearl mounted in the heart of south Anhui province. Covering an area of 1775 km2 with a population of 16,300, it has a history of over 1250 years started in the 4th year of Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty (AD745). The unique geographic location, long-standing history and culture, excellent ecological environment, abundant tourist and products resources together with its simple and honest people makes Yellow Mountain is a marvelous land of natural environments nurturing great talents.
Yellow Mountain scenic are is breathtaking landscape scroll painting. Hugging the magnificent and precipitous Mt. Huangshan in the south, lying besides the rippling Taiping Lack with green wavelets in the north, and with its wonderful waterfalls and secluded valleys, thick forest and tall bamboos, the area is a born paradise of a collective quintessence of natural scenery. Good products and abundant resources from the earth are Yellow Mountian’s treasures. The quality of air and water keeps in the first national level and standard all the year round. With a forest coverage rate of 79%, Yellow Mountain is the only production place of the famous tea called Taiping Houkui and the main production place of Huangshan Maofeng, which run into the top 10 famous tea of China, and it is also the hometown of Chinese bamboos, one of the demonstration areas of ecology of the first group, national forestry technology demonstration area, national green model area, and one of the Top 10 Chinese area (county) tourist brands.
